Christene Selleck is a Visual Director targeting multifaceted design installations.

Her work has taken her all over the world as retail visual specialist installing window displays from Moscow to Hong Kong and tradeshow booths across the United States. Here in New York she is active as the Visual Director for the Galleria Mall in White Plains installing the large-scale seasonal decor as well as a Professor at both the Fashion Institute of Technology and The Laboratory Institute of Merchandising. Christene is the owner of SELLECKVISION and the creator of ART On The STREET a program developed to support upcoming artists with the opportunities to be exhibited at high traffic top locations throughout the Metropolitan area.

Responsible for creating dynamic window displays, and internal displays throughout the stores. Creates arrangements, balance, and focal points within the store. Creates interesting themes and prop ideas to bring the store to a life with excitement, balance, color and drama. Utilizes colors and lighting to create impact and to establish an interesting window display. Promotes/boosts sales via effective use of graphics, POS, and decors in windows and in store merchandising. Arranging store fixtures in order to display products to their best advantage. Actively trains new members of staff in stores in visual merchandising techniques.

Develops a theme for displays, including color schemes and stories. Selects display locations and focal points. Creates visual sidelines. Assists in creating and implementing VM Manuals and Visual guidelines. Merchandises products according to set standards in terms of stories, families, materials and styles. Develops merchandising techniques to enhance product presentation in line with VM principles. Encourage all staff to deliver visual excellence.
